Automobile Rental

The University has agreements with many of the top rental car agencies. When you rent a vehicle through agencies with University agreements, the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) are included in the discounted rate at no additional cost. Please use rental agencies with University agreements whenever possible and decline the CDW and SLI offered by the agency.

The UCSD preferred travel program, Connexxus has the UC Identification Number and can make automobile reservations for UCSD travelers.

If you prefer to make your own car rental reservation using your personal card remeber to save all your receipts and turn them in for reimbursement at the end of your trip.
